McGraw Central School District Goals
2015-2016

1. Academic Goals
     a. Students in grades 3-8 will achieve at the state average for the State Assessments in ELA for the 2015-2016 school year.
     b. Students in grades 3-8 will achieve at the state average for the State Assessments in math for the 2015-2016 school year.

2. Reading Goal
     1. For the 2014-2015 school year, 25% of McGraw students will be proficient as measured by the STAR reading test, which is the level that generally correlates with at or above proficiency on the NYS ELA exam.
     2. For the 2015-2016 school year, 40% of McGraw students will be proficient as measured by the STAR reading test, which is the level that generally correlates with at or above the proficiency on the NYS ELA exam.
     3. For the 2016-2017 school year, 60% of McGraw students will be at proficient as measured by the STAR reading test, which is the level that generally correlates with at or above the proficiency on the NYS ELA exam.
     4. For the 2017-2018 school year, 80% of McGraw students will be proficient as measured by the STAR reading test, which is the level that generally correlates with at or above the proficiency on the NYS ELA exam.

(Proficient for reading is the 65th percentile for STAR)

3. Mathematics Goal
     1. For the 2014-2015 school year, 25% of McGraw students will be proficient as measured by the STAR math test, which is the level that generally correlates with at or above proficiency on the NYS math exam.
     2. For the 2015-2016 school year, 40% of McGraw students will be proficient as measured by the STAR math test, which is the level that generally correlates with at or above the proficiency on the NYS math exam.
     3. For the 2016-2017 school year, 60% of McGraw students will be at proficient as measured by the STAR math test, which is the level that generally correlates with at or above the proficiency on the NYS math exam.
     4. For the 2017-2018 school year, 80% of McGraw students will be proficient as measured by the STAR math test, which is the level that generally correlates with at or above the proficiency on the NYS math exam.
