Welcome New Teacher: Mr. Dwyer

Mr. Patrick Dwyer is teaching sixth grade Science and Social Studies at McGraw High School.  He is a 1987 graduate of Homer Central School.  He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Justice from SUNY Oswego in 1991 and a Master’s degree in Childhood Education from SUNY Cortland in 2004.  Before coming to McGraw, he taught in Cincinnatus and Homer.  Mr. Dwyer has a son who graduated from Homer last year and a daughter who is a junior at Homer.  The family resides in Truxton, NY.  An interesting fact about Mr. Dwyer is that he has a twin sister.  In his free time Mr. Dwyer likes to do electrical work and spend time outdoors.  He ran in 4 half- marathons and 2 marathons, one of them as part of a relay team.
