Geography in Grade 4

The fourth grade students have been focusing on the geography of New York in their Social Studies class.  In order to explore relative location, the students have become Google Maps experts. Google Maps has allowed the students to see entire hemispheres, continents, countries, states, and even street-level views. They have also used it to aid in research projects about the land features of New York.
