Senior Trip

On June 8-10, students from the senior class traveled to Cleveland, OH for the annual senior trip. Students spent Friday at Kalahari, Ohio’s largest indoor waterpark, where they had a blast on water slides like the “Zimbabwe Zipper,” the “Serengeti Sidewinder,” and the “Extreme Rush.” On Saturday, students visited the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. At the zoo, students fed giraffes, watched an African elephant crossing, visited the Rain Forest, and viewed more than 600 different plant and animal species. On Saturday evening, the students engaged in some friendly competition between each other and their chaperones as they played indoor glow-in-the-dark laser tag and whirlyball, a game that combines bumper cars, lacrosse, and basketball into one fun event. The trip concluded with an adrenaline-filled day at “America’s Roller Coast” - Cedar Point Amusement Park. Cedar Point has seventeen roller coasters - the second most in the world - and six roller coasters taller than 200 feet. The students were on a mission, trying to conquer as many rides as possible before the torrential downpours on Sunday afternoon ended the trip a little earlier than expected! While the students had a great time and likely made lasting memories with their friends, they also did an amazing job of representing McGraw while away from home. Thank you, Class of 2018, for a really fun trip!
