Welcome New Social Worker: Mrs. Jain

“Hello!! My name is Rebecca Jain and I am very excited to begin my first year at McGraw Central School District as your school social worker. I am a McGraw alumnus, class of 2006.  My parents still live in the community and are still active members with the McGraw Fire Department and Lady’s Auxiliary.

I attended SUNY Oswego for my undergraduate degree and then later Syracuse University for my Masters in Social Work.  I have worked in various positions in the social work field including as a family support specialist in the Syracuse City School District and as a counselor at a residential placement facility for adolescents.

My husband and I were recently married in May of this year and are excited to be back in the area. When I am not at work, I like spending time with my husband, family, and friends. I also enjoy traveling, seeing new places, and learning about new cultures.” ~ Mrs. Rebecca Jain
