Grade 8 Essays

Mr. Cowit’s 8^th grade English classes wrote essays describing the things that they value in their lives and why they are important.  They chose varied things to focus on such as their friends, parents, sports, hobbies, pets, grandparents, and cherished objects. After their essays were completed they created two pictures representing the two things in their essays.

In these photos some 8^th graders in each English 8 class present their great pictures after a two-day publishing party in which they shared their excellent essays and art work.  You can check out some of the Writers of the Week high quality work in the hallway by Mr. Cowit’s room.
