ELA (English Language Arts) Curriculum:
For our curriculum, we use Wonders from McGraw Hill that aligns with the New York State Next Generation English Language Arts Learning Standards. In ELA this year, students will learn a number of strategies to help them become better readers and writers. Students will become proficient readers and writers by using close reading strategies, doing research, and writing short and long written responses.
