The McGraw Historical Society was founded in 1969. Over many years, McGraw residents and friends of the village have donated numerous items to the society which are of significance to McGraw's past. The original goal was to collect photos, furniture, family histories, church and school records, and other collectibles relating to the history of the Village. These items along with scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, clothing, and books relating to McGraw, Cortland County and New York State history are just some of the many items which are on display in the History Room which is located at the rear entrance to the Lamont Memorial Library, 5 Main Street, McGraw.  The room is handicapped accessible with two handicap parking spaces near the entryway.

The History Room is open Tuesdays 2-4 pm or by contacting Mary Kimberly at 836-6738 for reservations.
