PSAT

PSAT
Students in high school, usually in their Junior year, take college entrance exams called the SAT and ACT.  To prepare for the SAT students can take the PSAT (Preliminary SAT) in the Fall of their Junior year.  This year the PSAT will be given in the high school from 8 a.m.-12:45 p.m. on October 13th in the high school gymnasium.  Students can register for the PSAT by coming to the School Counseling Office to get a practice book and fee waiver information.  If a student's family income meets certain income guidelines the student can use the fee waiver and take the PSAT for free. If the student isn't eligible for the fee waiver the cost is $18.00.  Please pay in cash or a check made out to McGraw High School.
The deadline to register/pay for the PSAT is Friday, October 8, 2021.

The PSAT download below will give you more information regarding the test and reasons to take it.
