McGraw Central School District is conveniently located in Cortland County between Syracuse and Binghamton. The district has two academic buildings and houses approximately 575 students.  Pre-Kindergarten – Grade 5 are situated in the elementary building and grades 6-12 are in the MS/HS building. In addition, the district maintains its own transportation department and bus fleet.

Responsible for all aspects of teaching including but not limited to the development and implementation of Common Core Learning Standards/Curriculum, instruction, assessment, student supervision, home/school communication, etc. Serve as collegial team member in a dynamic K-5 educational setting. Provide instruction to elementary student with intellectual and physical disabilities. Maintain student records consistent with State and Federal regulations. Perform other duties as required. Previous experience working with students with intellectual and physical disabilities preferred. New York State Certification in Students with Disabilities (SWD) Grades 1 - 6  OR K - 12.

School Social Worker
Full Time, 10-month position, PK-12 - shared between elementary and high school   
 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to counseling (individual and group), crisis management, implanting building-wide positive behavior interventions and supports, collaboration with teams and outside agencies, regular communication with families, developing BIPS, completion of social histories and participating in CSE meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Certification required
