SOCIAL STUDIES DEPARTMENT  

     JOE SEAMANS- Mr. Seamans received an Associates degree in Liberal Arts from Tompkins Cortland Community College in 2000 then transferred to SUNY Geneseo and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in History with a Secondary Education Certification. In May of 2006, he graduated from SUNY Cortland with a Masters in Social Studies. He started working in the district in 2004 as a long term substitute teacher and turned full-time in September 2006 teaching a variety of Social Studies classes.  Currently, Mr. Seamans teaches Global Studies 9, Global Studies 10, Co-Taught Global Studies, and is also the Driver Education instructor during the summer. Mr. Seamans started as the Golf Coach in 2017.  Mr. Seamans enjoys spending time at home with his family.
