Haudenosaunee Unit

Mrs. Turshman’s third and fourth graders completed their Haudenosaunee unit.  As an end of unit assessment, the students worked together to create a model of a Haudenosaunee village.  They included objects necessary for survival such as palisades, water, trees, shelter, food source and fire.  They also tried some authentic Haudenosaunee recipes like The Three Sisters Soup, Corn Bread, and Seneca Ghost Cakes.
