Survival of Plants & Animals

After learning about how plants and animals survive, first grade students had to come up with a problem about themselves and create a solution.  They worked in pairs and had materials to mimic what they already learned about survival of plants and animals with their solution.  Some of the problems were: brother keeps taking my basketball; my pants get wet from the snow, people take my toys; my tool box keeps breaking; people wreak our snowman; my sister keeps getting into my Lego table; I don't like my Poptart when it gets wet.  See if you can guess which project matches the students' problems and what they did to it to solve the problem.
