Building Ukuleles

"The students in Mr. Sanderson's Design and Drawing for Production class are building ukuleles from scratch using a combination of centuries-old techniques and cutting edge technology.  Each student is designing parts of their instrument using CAD software.  They will incorporate their designs into the final instrument that they construct.  They are also learning advanced woodworking skills as a part of this process.  In these pictures you see students steam bending the sides of the instrument, and cutting slots for the fretboard."
