Tree Planting

 
As part of the Positivity Project Appreciation of Beauty and Excellence, McGraw Elementary took part in a whole school Earth Day Project.  An assembly with Department of Environmental Conservation Officer Andrew Kostuk kicked off the day.  He spoke about his job and how everyone can help take care of our Earth!  The students were very entertained by the information that he shared.  Then each classroom got to plant a White Spruce tree. Thank you to the Cortland County Soil & Water Conservation District for the tree donations.  It was an amazing day working together for a common goal and helping the Earth!
