McGraw Central School District is conveniently located in Cortland County between Syracuse and Binghamton. The district has two academic buildings and houses approximately 575 students. Pre-Kindergarten – Grade 5 are situated in the elementary building and Grades 6-12 are in the Middle/High School building. In addition, the district maintains its own transportation department and bus fleet.

AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC/ BUS DRIVER | Full Time, 12-month position DUTIES: This individual is responsible for maintenance of buses, cars, trucks, and other motorized equipment, prepares and maintains related records, and assists in other transportation related needs as required. He/she conducts inspections of equipment in the shop or in the field to determine the safety status. Under the supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, helps plan, schedule, and perform repair and preventative maintenance of the district's vehicles. Maintains a current inventory of supplies and equipment. This person is expected to drive a regular bus route. QUALIFICATIONS: CDL Class B license with P S endorsements or obtain it within the probationary period. He/she will be required to obtain DMV 19-A Certification within three years. begins January 23, 2023 |
