Pre-Calculus Class

 

In Pre-Calculus we are working on verifying trig identities.  I personally love the concept of verifying the identities.  As we have spent some time doing this, I have found that my students enjoy this concept as well.  This picture shows work of one student, Rachel. However, we weren’t able to fit the whole problem on one screen.  One would have to scroll down to see it all.  Pre-Calculus is a TC3 concurrent enrollment class.  This year’s seniors who take this class will receive eight credits for taking this class. Pre-Calculus is really two classes in one: Math 120 (college Algebra) and Math 138 (Pre-Calculus).  The material is challenging, but with enough perseverance and work students are successful.
