Welcome, Mrs. Owen!

Welcome Mrs. Karin Owen to the High School.  Mrs. Owen is the School Counseling Secretary/Registrar who joined the staff in January after beginning the year as a substitute.  She and her husband live in Solon with their three children; Parker who is 9, Emilee who is 7, and Jameson who is 5 years old.  Mr. Owen owns and operates Owen’s Automotive.  She says, “My husband also races an IMCA so we spend our weekends at the race track and in the summer we like to camp and go to car shows.”

Mrs. Owen is a Cincinnatus Central School alumnus and has an associate’s degree in criminal justice from TC3.  She has been a member of the Cincinnatus Fire Department for 20 years, was an EMT for 12 years, and a certified medical assistant for 9 years.  She maintains her medical assistant certificate.  She says, “After covid hit, I decided I needed a career change.”   In her free time, Mrs. Owen sells Pampered Chef and Thirty-One products.  She also creates mugs and t-shirts to sell.
