8th Grade Science

Science 8

Grade allowed in course:  8 

Length of Course:  1 Year

Pre-requisite:  Science 7

     The first part of the year is spent on basic measurements and conversions.  Students will learn about motion and forces, energy and matter, properties of matter, interactions of matter, also waves, electricity, and magnetism.  In May, students will take the Science 8 Performance test, which will include 3 lab activities.  Also in May, all 8th Graders will take the Science 8 Written Test.
