Welcome, Mr. King!

Welcome, Mr. Brett King, to McGraw Central School District.  Mr. King has a bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education from SUNY Oswego, a dual master’s degree in Special Education and Literacy from the University of Albany, and a certificate of advanced study in Educational Leadership from Stonybrook University. This year he is teaching third grade at McGraw Elementary.

Mr. King and his family reside in Fabius, but he grew up in Saranac Lake, NY.  His family enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, and spending time at their camp.  His 9-year-old daughter is involved in competition dance and his 12-year-old son competes in ski races and plays baseball.  Mr. King himself spends free time with family, hiking or enjoying watersports.  An interesting fact is that while attending SUNY Oswego, Mr. King says, “I competitively rowed for them, practicing on Lake Ontario as well as at Fairhaven.”  Mr. King is also involved with his local church, oversees operations of A Time to Grow Nursery School, and is the president of Labrador Ski Club.

Welcome to McGraw, Mr. King!
