On May 28th, seventeen student-athletes from McGraw Elementary and Jr./Sr. High School proudly participated in the 3rd Annual Cortland County Olympiad at SUNY Cortland. With support from faculty, staff, and Student Council volunteers, the event kicked off with a parade featuring student-athletes from area school districts, led by the McGraw Marching Band and highlighted by McGraw’s Ricky Osborne singing the national anthem. Students engaged in a variety of activities, including the softball throw, long jump, shot put, bike races, soccer shootout, yard games, and face painting. The day concluded with a warm welcome from K–6 students, faculty, and staff, who lined the sidewalks with handmade signs to cheer on and congratulate the returning student-athletes.
