Elementary students in Mrs. Farris's class learned about their amazing bodies.  The class began by talking about the millions of cells in their body and how they all work together.  These cells are the building blocks with different sizes, shapes and functions.  The students learned about the parts of an animal cell and their functions.  At the end of the lesson, they constructed a cell with playdough and used various materials to identify functions within the cell.
