Welcome, Miss Rachel Neuwirth, to McGraw Elementary! She joined the faculty in January as a certified Special Education teacher. She previously worked as a special education teacher in another district and a permanent substitute teacher on Long Island for 2 years. Miss Neuwirth attended SUNY Cortland to gain her bachelor's degree and is currently pursuing a master's degree online through SUNY Cortland for teaching English as a second language (TESOL).
Miss Neuwirth’s family includes Mom, Dad, and a younger sister in college. This past summer, Miss Neuwirth moved from Long Island to Conklin, NY, where she makes a home with her boyfriend. She loves going to the gym and running and she loves to paint/create art. An interesting fact about Miss Neuwirth is that she is running in a half marathon in May.
