Welcome to Mrs. Kiersten Gibbons, who recently joined the staff at McGraw High School! She introduces herself: "My name is Kiersten Gibbons, and I am the High School Nurse. I recently moved back to the area from Rochester, NY, though I grew up in Truxton. I earned my Nursing degree from Onondaga Community College, along with a Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Canton and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from St. John Fisher University. Prior to this position, I worked as a postpartum nurse at Crouse Health and also gained experience as a triage nurse at Guthrie Family Practice."
"In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Kyle, and our 6-year-old son, Layton. We love playing games together and being outdoors, so I am definitely looking forward to the sunshine! I am also a huge animal lover—we have three dogs, two cats, and many chickens. Right now, I even have 50 eggs in the incubator. I’m excited for summer so I can start my garden and attend more country music concerts."
