In April members of the McGraw Foreign Language Club flew to Puerto Rico for 5 unforgettable days. They explored Old San Juan and historic sites like El Morro and La Fortaleza, learned about local history and ecology, hiked and zip-lined through the U.S.’s only rainforest, and took an evening kayak tour of the incredible bioluminescent bay. Many tried flying for the first time, sampled authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, practiced Spanish, and danced salsa beside La Casita de Rones. It was an amazing cultural immersion for the whole group!
